What we do
Wells plugged.
Locations cleaned up.
We work for operators across Texas, on a signed Work Order, under your Commission authority.
Plugging & Abandonment
Wells plugged to Statewide Rule 14 and to the approved procedure for the specific hole — bottom-hole plug, plugs across perforations and productive intervals, casing shoes and cut points, the base of usable-quality water tagged where the rule requires it, and a surface plug with the well cut off below grade. We run the job from rig-up to the final plug, and we coordinate the approved cementer who pumps it.
Difficult Wells
The ones that have been carried on the books for years. Old completions nobody has records for. Files that do not match what is actually in the hole. Fish, collapsed or parted casing, cement that is not where the diagram says, pressure that was not supposed to be there. These take longer and they take hands who have seen the failure before. Bring us the well that got passed over.
Casing & Tubing Recovery
Where the well will give it up, recovery runs as part of the plugging program rather than as a separate trip — isolated below each cut before anything is pulled, so the plugging integrity is never traded for footage. Recovered footage is reconciled and reported. How recovered material is treated is settled in the Work Order before the job, not argued about afterward.
Site Restoration
Casing cut off below grade, the marker set as required, the cellar and location cleaned up, and the site left the way the surface owner ought to find it. Most of the complaints that follow a plugging job are about the half-day of cleanup nobody budgeted, not about the cement. We budget it.
How a job runs
No surprises, and nothing on a handshake.
Tell us the wells and what you know about them. We look at the records, tell you what we think we are walking into, and price it turnkey, day rate or unit rate. That goes on a Work Order stating the wells, the scope, the price basis and the schedule. It gets signed by both sides before anyone mobilises.
If the hole turns out materially different from what the records showed — and on old wells it sometimes does — that is a written change order, agreed before the extra work happens, not a line item you discover on the invoice.
When the work is done you get the records you need for your filings, and the job closes out on the Commission plugging record.
Tell us about the well.
County, depth, and whatever you have on the hole. We will tell you whether it is one we want.
